Will my rent stay consistent throughout?
The rental price will depend on the term of the rental agreement. However, at the moment are rents costs are equivalent to a mortgage costs of 5% over 35 years. Your rent will increase based on inflation every year. If the inflation for a year was only 2%, that is how much more you will have to pay.
What if I fail to make payments?
We will try our best to work with you in the long run. If it is difficult to make payments due to sudden unemployment or job changes, do let us know. In severe cases, we can make a new payment plan that works for all of us. If you consistently fail to pay the rent, we will work with the investor to sell the house. Any loss or non-payment of rent will be deducted from your equity percentage on sale of the home.
